I have bought way too many bags over my lifetime trying to find the right size, weight, configuration, etc. This one feels like the Goldilocks "just right". Light enough that it doesn't add too much weight of its own, big enough without being too big, gorgeous, and really comfortable. It fits everything I need in it, including a book or small journal. I changed out the leather strap for a wide canvas strap but only because I have a bad shoulder. I highly recommend this bag.
