GREENWOOD LEATHER® – RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS


RETURNS &
EXCHANGES WINDOW

GREENWOOD LEATHER® accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery, based on the carrier’s confirmed delivery date.

All return or exchange requests must be submitted and approved in advance by contacting:

RETURN AUTHORIZATION (MANDATORY)

  • All returns and exchanges require prior written authorization

  • Returns sent without approval may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense

  • Greenwood Leather reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy


ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return or exchange, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition

  • With all original tags and packaging

  • Packed securely, with all components (e.g., straps inside the bag as originally received)

⚠️ Items showing any signs of use, wear, damage, or alteration will be:

  • Rejected, and

  • Returned to the customer at their expense


RETURN SHIPPING & COST RESPONSIBILITY

  • All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer

  • Returns must be shipped using a trackable shipping service

  • Greenwood Leather is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments

If Greenwood Leather provides a prepaid return label at the customer’s request to facilitate the return process, the cost of the label will be deducted from the final refund amount

Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable


RESTOCKING FEE

For any approved return that is not due to a defect, damage, or incorrect item, a restocking fee of 15% may be applied and deducted from the refund.

If a returned item is not in its original condition, packaging, or is missing components, Greenwood Leather reserves the right to:

  • Apply a higher restocking fee, or

  • Reject the return entirely and send the item back at the customer’s expense


IMPORTANT – UNITED STATES & INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

All customers outside Canada (including the United States) must contact us and receive return authorization before sending any item back.

Failure to follow this process may result in:

  • The shipment being refused, or

  • Customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged to the customer

When returning an item, you must:

  • Clearly mark the package as: RETURN TO SENDER”

  • Declare the value as: “$0 (Zero Value Return)”

Any return that is incorrectly declared may be:

  • Rejected, or

  • Subject to additional charges, which will be the responsibility of the customer

REFUNDS

  • Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected

  • Processing time: 2–5 business days after approval

  • Refunds will be made to the original method of payment only

Please note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card provider

  3. Contact your bank

EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges for unused, non-personalized items only.

  • Requests must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • Exchanges require prior authorization

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs (return and reshipment)


ADDITIONAL TERMS

  • Greenwood Leather reserves the right to limit or refuse returns from customers with excessive return activity

  • This policy applies to all purchases unless otherwise stated in writing
