Great quality. Exactly what I needed in a bag. Can dress it up or down
I am very happy with my bag, I brought it for vacation and It's everything I want & need in a crossbody bag. The leather is soft and of good quality and the craftmanship is excellent. It has the room I need for my wallet, phone, water bottle and much more! Love Love It!!!!!
Very thick leather. The hardware could be better-strength wise for the firmness of the leather.
Having previously purchased and returned two messenger-style bags from other providers, I was skeptical that this one would be any better. I didn't want to spend a lot, but the other ones were very basic, primitive, and flat-out ugly. However, this Portland messenger bag from Greenwood is beautiful, very functional, just the right size with lots of compartments and zippered pockets. It's very sturdy, and the craftsmanship is high level. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a messenger bag with multiple compartments.
A couple points of note: the sandal color is a little redder than I expected, I like it but might have gone with the brown had I known. The strap which comes with the bag seems to be made for a giant, you have to adjust it to the point of pulling the metal buckle through to the other side of the shoulder pad. You'll see what I mean. Finally, I think someone else mentioned the hardware which is good quality but with this bag I would have preferred a "brassy gold" tone rather than the gunmetal color. Still, five stars from me on this bag.
